DSV Petroleum is a company focused on the acquisition and development of oil and natural gas properties across Africa. DSV owns a 100% controlling interest in OPL 251 an upstream block situated in ultra deep water Nigeria. It shares the same regional geology setting with OPL 246 (Host to TOTAL AKPO field).The block occupies an area of about 936SqKm in the western part of the ultra deep offshore petroleum province, with water depths ranging between 2,000 and 3,000meters. Huge successes have been recorded in some assets in the same regional setting as OPL 251. Assets such as the Edop (Mobil) and Agbami (FAMFA) fields (both in excess of 1.0BBbbls recoverable) and Akpo (South Atlantic OPL246) recorded reserves in excess of 600MMbbls respectively. In addition, the Company owns aggregate controlling interest through its subsidiary, in properties and oil and natural gas reserves located across West Africa.
